Sabrina Lopez shares her passion for fashion

By definition, fashion designates the manner of clothing, according to the taste of an era in a given region. It is a phenomenon involving the collective via society, the look it returns, the codes it imposes and the individual taste. Today it has become the number one success of Instagram thanks to influencers. The blogger SasabyLopez, reveals herself through an interview ...

  • Introduce yourself in a few words …

Sabrina Lopez, 33, Greek / Spanish born Belgium. Mom of 2 little boys of 1 and 4 years old. Serial chocolate eater and compulsive buyer.

  • Where does your passion for fashion come from?

Since little! In my childhood, my favorite game was to dress and undress my dolls and put on new outfits. It’s pretty cliché but it corresponds to my reality. During my teenage years, I was looking for student jobs in clothing stores to help and advise clients, I took a pleasure to do it. Since then, love for fashion has never left me.

  • Do you have references from the world of fashion that inspire you?

Teen, I was an unconditional fan of Jennifer Lopez. And not because we share the same name, but his urban / glam style has always intrigued me. Now I turn more towards the instagrameuses. There are so many who inspire me and do a good job, but I would say that my last discovery and favorite of the moment is @nicolebernardes.

  • In your opinion, what is your success?

I do not know if we can really talk about success. I would say that I am still at the bottom of the jungle food chain instagram. But it is true that I started late to devote time (May 2018). If I had started before, who knows? The feedback I often get from my followers is that they feel like they are talking to one of their girlfriends, they thank me for giving them time and answering each of their questions or comments, even if it becomes more in addition unmanageable given the amount of questions I receive daily. Another key is that I present accessible looks, which you will see at Madame’s home. I do not wear high fashion clothes or other brands at a totally disorienting price.

  • What is your motto?

In life, the things that are most valuable are those that are priceless.

  • Are you rather shops? Online shopping? Friperies?

Rather online shopping, my schedule no longer allows me to go shopping.

  • What is the favorite piece of your closet?

A small bracelet made spontaneously by my elder when he was 3 years old. I would not trade it for anything in the world, not even for a Gucci.

  • Do you have a model, a person who pushes you to continue your projects?

I do not really have a model that I try to calm down. I’m doing my little way without worrying about others. And who will live will see as they say. Otherwise I rely on the invaluable help of my husband who helps me a lot for everyday tasks and who helps me in this adventure.

  • What can we wish you for the future?

To stay healthy and to continue to be loved by my loved ones as I am now.
